My Journey
Ovulation Confirmed Wednesday, Oct. 01, 2003 @ 6:50 p.m.
Today I finally got my ovulation confirmed for Sunday. Of course it had to happen on our abstinence day! There's nothing more to do but wait. I don't have much hope for this cycle.

Today a teacher at my school was saying that it took her five years to have her first child. She said it was probably because she was underweight. At the time she was eating a lot and eating healthy, but her body wasn't absorbing the nutrients. Her doctor told her she was malnourished! She then started talking about her sister who had anorexia when she was younger. After she got married she couldn't have children either. Then she got pregnant and miscarried in her seventh month. She and her husband decided to adopt a child from China. Nine months later they she gave birth to her son. She later gave birth to another child. It's been interesting for me to see the different ways couples experience infertility. Someday after I have children (biological or adopted), I'll be able to openly share my story of infertility (not anonymously over the internet!). Maybe I can bring hope to another infertile couple. then< >now Recent Entries Adoption Complete! Thinking About Another - Thursday, Nov. 05, 2009
