My Journey
Printing Charts and Reflections on Spring
Tuesday, Mar. 25, 2003 @ 9:38 p.m.

I just finished printing out my fertility charts for the last 7 months. I'm going to take them along with me when I visit my gynecologist tomorrow.

After I printed them out I place them on the floor in a row and had a good look at them. It was neat to see the cycles of high and low temperatures. It's amazing at how regular the pattern appears. God made the seasons that way; they follow a pattern. God has promised that they will not change.

I was getting so tired of winter, and now spring has come. The crocuses, daffodils, and tulips are poking through the soil in my garden. I hope the winter that I've been feeling inside soon leaves me and that new life springs within me. Even if if I don't have a baby, I hope that I have joy in my heart this spring. Jesus lives! Easter is coming! What can I do but rejoice?!

The seasons are fixed by wisdom divine,
The slow-changing moon shows forth God's design;
The sun in its circuit his Maker obeys,
And running his journey hastes not nor delays.

The Lord makes the night, when, leaving their lair,
The lions creep forth, God's bounty to share;
The Lord makes the morning, when beasts steal away
And men are beginning the work of the day.

How many and wise Thy works are, O Lord!
The earth with the wealth of wisdom is stored;
The sea bears in safety the ships to and fro,
And creatures unnumbered it shelters below.

The creatures all look to Thee for their food;
Thy hand opens wide, they gather the good;
Thy face Thou concealest, in anguish they yearn;
Their breath Thou withholdest, to dust they return.

Thy Spirit, O Lord, makes life to abound,
The earth is renewed, and fruitful the ground;
To God ascribe glory and wisdom and might,
Let God in His creatures forever delight.
