My Journey
Ultrasound Tomorrow Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003 @ 10:30 a.m.
One more day to go. By this time tomorrow I should have a better idea of how this cycle will work.

I've done a little research by looking at the chart gallery at Fertility Friend. Most of the people doing a Clomid/IUI cycle like I am had the shot to release the eggs between cd 11 and cd 13. Two days later they went in for the IUI. That gives me a possible IUI date of Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. If it's on Sunday we might have to miss church. If we missed church people would notice we were gone, especially my husband's family. We only miss church if we are on vacation or if we are sick. So they would know something was going on if we were both gone and not on vacation. Maybe we will have to plan an overnight trip near the fertility clinic. Then we could be on vacation! Hopefully if we do have to have it done on Sunday, we can do it in the afternoon, so we won't have to miss church. Monday would be a great day to have it done. Neither my husband or I have to work since it will be Labor Day. We only have plans to see friends in the late afternoon, so the morning would be free. Tuesday would be another complicated day. It's my first day of school. I can't get a substitute on the first day of school! That wouldn't work. It is a half-day though, so we might be able to go to the clinic in the afternoon. I know I shouldn't worry about it, but I really don't want to have to cancel the IUI. I'll be praying that it will work out. When I go in tomorrow, I have to take along my prescription for the "trigger" shot that will release the eggs. I'm not quite sure why. Maybe they can fill the prescription at the clinic if I need it right then. I'll be back tomorrow with the results of the ultrasound. I'm hoping that there will be two follicles:) then< >now Recent Entries Adoption Complete! Thinking About Another - Thursday, Nov. 05, 2009
