My Journey
Benefits of Being an Infertile Childless Couple
Saturday, May. 03, 2003 @ 1:33 p.m.

Benefits of Being a Childless Infertile Couple

1. You are able to do things spontaneously.
2. You have more money to spend.
3. You have more time to work on your hobbies.
4. You have less house work to do.
5. You have more energy to devote to eachother and your marriage.

Because of these things, you can...
- see new movies or go to the theater.
- eat out on weekends.
- go away for a mini-vacation on weekends.
- fly across the country to visit family and friends more often.
- run errands and shop whenever you want.
- go places faster without kids to drag along.
- stay longer at parties (no children to put to bed or no babysitters with a curfew).
- sleep in late on Saturdays (instead of getting up early to go garage-saling).
- keep the house neater.
- buy a new car (a sedan, not a mini van).
- redecorate your home.
- buy what you want at the fabric and craft store, garden center, or hardware store.
- purchase nice gifts for your friends and family.
- relax since the screaming child in the restaurant or at the store isn't yours.
- do less laundry and grocery shopping each week.
- avoid nursery duty at church.
- plan or scheme fun activities to avoid other painful activities.
