It looks like we won't find out if we were chosen or not until at least tomorrow. Our social worker told me at noon that they hadn't heard anything yet. She expected that since there were lots of profiles to be looked at, we probably wouldn't hear until tomorrow at the earliest. Yes, I expected that, and now it is just confirmed. She's digging through tons of profiles. I'm not feeling quite as hopeful right now.

I was also told about a potential birthmother who is chosing families next week. From the information I was given I'm pretty sure that we won't be showing our profile for this one. She probably wouldn't have picked us anyway since she's looking for a family with interests similar to hers, and most of hers don't match ours. That helps me not feel so bad for saying no to this situation.

I woke up really early this morning. I hope I sleep better tonight. Waking up early wasn't so bad though. I got to do some extra thinking and praying.
